Star Wars Day

Valley Coffee

Catch & Release Fishing
Monday, June 8 9:00 AM - Noon Come fishing with us from 9:00 AM-Noon at the Chiang Mai Fishing Park! 300 THB will provide you with a rod and bait for hours of fun. You can bring your own rod and purchase bait for 50 THB. The stocked ponds have a variety of fish. This is a catch and release activity, so no fish will need to return home with you. End of the Spear Book Club
Saturday, June 27 5:00 - 9:00 PM Join us in reading End of the Spear by Steve Saint, and then discussing the book and watching the 2005 movie adaptation (PG-13). End of the Spear by Steve Saint is a powerful memoir chronicling the aftermath of his father's 1956 martyrdom in the Ecuadorian jungle at the hands of the Waodani tribe. The book details Steve's astonishing journey of forgiveness and reconciliation, which culminates decades later when he moves his own family back to the Amazon to live among the very people who killed his father. Independence Day Party
Saturday, July 4 4:00 - 9:00 PM All CMHC families are invited to an incredible 4th of July bash at the Kijsamnong’s home from 4:00 PM-9:00 PM to celebrate America’s birthday in style! We’ll be firing up the grill for some delicious chicken and classic hotdogs, and we ask that each family bring their favorite side dish to share for our 5:00 PM feast. After dinner, we'll light up the night with sparklers! Then, as the sun goes down, we'll be hosting a special outdoor movie night from 7:00 PM- 8:40 PM featuring the all-time summer classic, The Sandlot (1993/PG). If you're sticking around for the movie under the stars, just remember to bring some cozy blankets to sit on. We can't wait to celebrate with you! |

YWAM King's Kids Camp
Monday-Sunday, July 20-26 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM This is a 7-day camp for students 6-16 years old at YWAM Call2All. Monday-Friday from 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, students will have learning, training, and preparation time. Friday-Sunday all day and overnight they will do local outreaches. King's Kids Camp's purpose is to mobilize, equip, and teach children and teens to make Jesus known. Cost 5,500 THB (before May 1) and 6,000 THB (after May 1). The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn Book Club
Saturday, July 18 5:00 - 9:00 PM Join us in reading The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain , and then discussing the book and watching the 1993 movie adaptation (PG). The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn follows young Huck as he fakes his own death to escape his abusive father and embarks on a journey down the Mississippi River. Fall Semester Begins
Monday, September 7 8:30 AM - Noon The first day of our fall semester is Monday, September 7, and we simply cannot wait to fill our Monday mornings with friends, laughter, and learning once again! To help the morning run smoothly, we ask all participating families to arrive bright and early at 8:30 AM. This will give us plenty of time to tackle our morning setup together and let the kids get comfortable with their new classrooms. Our co-op day will wrap up at noon, but the fun doesn't have to stop there - we would love for you to stick around for an optional picnic lunch from noon to 1:00 PM. |
