Ice Skating

New Family Orientation
Monday, January 6 10:00 - 11:30 AM The participating parent of each new co-op family is required to attend our co-op orientation to learn all the details of how our special co-op community functions. |

Family Picnic
Monday, January 6 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM All families participating in our spring co-op are invited to pack a lunch and join us for our family picnic the Monday before co-op begins! (We love to see our dads too!) This is a perfect time to reconnect with friends and meet the families who will be new to co-op. The picnic will take place at 11:30 AM at our normal co-op location. |

First Day of Spring Semester
Monday, January 13 8:30 AM - Noon The first day of our co-op spring semester will be Monday, January 13! Participating families should plan to arrive at 8:30 AM to do setup jobs. Co-op will end at noon with an optional picnic lunch following until 1:00 PM. |

Library Skills Day
Thursday, January 9 & 23 2:45 - 4:00 PM Children ages 7-13 (no younger or older siblings) are invited to go to the Grace International School library from 2:45 - 4:00 PM to learn basic library skills and etiquette when visiting a library. We have two days you can choose between and the content of each day will be identical. This event is limited to 15 students per day only. Pin to Grace International School |

Astro Park Space Museum
Friday, January 24 10:00 AM - Noon Join us at Chiang Mai’s planetarium at 10:00 AM and enjoy a morning learning about stars, planets, and solar systems. The planetarium show will be at 11:00 AM. Cost 50 THB per adult and 30 THB per child. Pin to Astro Park Space Museum |

Geography Bee
Monday, February 3 12:30 - 1:30 PM After co-op join us in the upstairs auditorium at 12:30 PM for a Geography Bee! All co-op students ages 6+ are invited to participate in pointing out countries on a map (and if they know the capital too they get a bonus point)! If your student would like to participate they can start brushing up on their geography skills by going to: world-geography-games.com/en/countries_world.html On this website students have the option to practice 1-2 continents at a time and then eventually work up to including the entire world! Ribbons will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place students! |

Valentine's Day
Monday, February 10 All students and parents are encouraged to dress in pink/red and bring valentine cards and treats for their 3rd hour classmates (and other friends during lunchtime). |

Music Recital & Art Show
Monday, March 3 12:30 - 1:30 PM Join us at 12:30 PM for a music recital. All co-op students ages 6-18 are invited to perform one musical piece (not exceeding 4 minutes) and/or to display 2 pieces of artwork (paintings, drawing, sculptures, etc.). |

Pi Party
Friday, March 14 (3.14) 1:00 - 3:00 PM All co-op families are invited to the Vrugginks’ home from 1:00 – 3:00 PM to enjoy eating pie (each family is asked to bring a pie) and playing pi (3.14) games. An award will be given to the student who can recite pi to the farthest decimal point. |

College & Life Launching
Saturday, March 15 9:30 AM - Noon All co-op families are invited to the Vrugginks’ home from 9:30 AM – Noon for brunch and to discuss tips for high school families as they prepare to launch children into college and life! Our fall panel was focused on academics, but this will be focused on preparing the heart and life skills. Join us as we hear from a panel of expert moms and dads! |

Co-op Spring Closing Program
Monday, March 24 12:30 - 1:30 PM Parents, siblings, and friends are invited to join us from 12:30 – 1:30 PM for our co-op closing program as our students show all they've learned over the semester. Art projects will be displayed, dramas, dances, and songs will be performed, and we'll enjoy seeing all the fun and creativity that have been poured into co-op this semester. |

Thai Art Class
TBD: March 26 or 28 1:00 - 3:00 PM We’re going to have art lessons from a local mom who specializes in teaching children to draw elements of Thai culture (Thai houses, elephants, lanterns, waterfalls, mango sticky rice, and more)! At the Vrugginks’ home we’ll have a class from 1:00-2:00 for ages 6-10 and then a class from 2:00-3:00 for ages 11-18. Kids are welcome to stay and play while their siblings' art class is going on |

High School Wingspan Party
Thursday, March 27 1:00 - 4:00 PM All high school students are invited to the Vrugginks’ home to play the game Wingspan! The students in Bird Illustration class will particularly enjoy the beautiful bird illustrations in this game. |
