Student Supplies: Yamaha Baroque Recorder - 130 THB Lazada Link: lazada.co.th/products/yamaha-soprano-recorder-baroque-system It is important that the students bring a Baroque recorder and NOT a German one, due to the difference in fingering. Also, please do not bring a much cheaper recorder. Yamaha has an established reputation for quality whereas the 30 baht ones are known to squeak and be shrill. Also, Yamaha has a aesthetically pleasing line (various colors and transparencies) available on Lazada for 220 THB, however many of them are the German style (although it is not always explicitly stated). Please have the family name clearly written on the case for the recorder. This is one piece of equipment we don’t want to swap! |
